The Centre for Interdisciplinary Biosciences (CIB) will once again be among the exhibitors at Researchers’ Night. Our presentation, “AI Designs, Humans Decide: The Future of Proteins,” will demonstrate how artificial intelligence assists scientists in studying, designing and optimising proteins—the essential structural and functional molecules of living organisms. You will discover how newly designed proteins and enzymes can contribute to the development of pharmaceuticals, diagnostic methods, environmentally sustainable technologies and innovative materials. You will also learn why human expertise, experience and informed decision-making remain indispensable, even in the age of artificial intelligence.
