Significant International Recognition for a Scientific Publication

We are pleased to announce that the scientific paper authored by our colleague RNDr. Veronika Huntošová, PhD., and her international research team, entitled "Hierarchical Functionalisation of UiO-66(Zr)-NH₂ with Cysteine, PEG, and SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD to Facilitate ACE2 Receptor Targeting in Model Cells," has been selected as an Editor's Choice Article by the editorial board of the international peer-reviewed journal Nanomaterials.

The Editor's Choice designation is awarded only to a select number of publications that are recognized by the journal's editorial board for their outstanding scientific originality, methodological excellence, and significant contribution to advancing research in their respective fields. This distinction represents an important recognition of the publication's scientific merit and highlights its relevance and potential impact within the international scientific community.

The publication is the result of an international collaborative research effort and was published in Nanomaterials in 2026, a well-established peer-reviewed journal with an Impact Factor of 4.8.
