CIB Launches the CAMO3E Project

The Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences has launched the implementation of the CAMO3E project, Advanced Imaging in the Early Diagnosis of Esophageal Tumours.

CAMO3E will integrate multimodal optical and biophotonic imaging, artificial intelligence, and preclinical models to support the identification of new imaging biomarkers and the development of improved diagnostic approaches for esophageal tumours.
The project, led by RNDr. Veronika Huntošová, PhD., is implemented from July 2026 to June 2028 with support from the European Union through Programme Slovakia, project No. NFP401101F618. Support for international cooperation in the field of research, development and innovation – Healthy Society Domain.
Budget: 998,015.41 EUR
