CIB at the CELLIM Bioimaging Workshop 2026
RNDr. Veronika Huntošová, PhD., from the Center for Interdisciplinary Biosciences, will participate as an invited speaker at the workshop CELLIM: Lifetime-Based Bioimaging Across Cells and Tissues, which will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at CEITEC Masaryk University in Brno.
Her invited lecture, entitled “Monitoring of Photodynamically Active Nanoparticles Using FLIM,” will present the application of fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy to the investigation of photodynamically active nanoparticles.
Dr. Huntošová’s participation will be carried out within the framework of the CAMO3E project, funded by the European Union through Programme Slovakia under call PSK-MZ-009-2024-DV-EFRR, project No. NFP401101F618.
The three-day event will focus on the practical application of FLIM, FLIM-FRET, and quantitative fluorescence lifetime-based imaging in cells, tissues, and plant samples. The programme will combine expert lectures, software demonstrations, and hands-on microscopy sessions using the Leica STELLARIS 8 FALCON system.
The workshop is organised by the Cellular Imaging Core Facility at CEITEC Masaryk University in collaboration with Specion, with support from Czech-BioImaging and Euro-BioImaging. Dr. Huntošová will represent the Slovak BioImaging initiative, which is working towards full membership in the Euro-BioImaging network.
